"Satan" is the thirteenth episode of Moral Orel. In it, Coach Stopframe goes to a meeting of a Satanic cult, taking Orel with him. However, Coach Stopframe is turned off from the cult when he sees that everyone in the meeting is overweight, wandering around in the nude, and devouring junk food refreshments.

Plot[]

Coach Stopframe is having a conflict of faith. He fiddles with a rotating crucifix on his wall and prays to God and to Satan, asking them both to have Clay call him. Eventually, Clay does call, offering to meet up at the bar. Later, Clay and Stopframe have a few drinks and have an innuendo-filled conversation. They lean in to kiss, but Clay abruptly leaves.

Stopframe muses over his obsession with Clay, and spins the crucifix again. It lands right-side up. This prompts Stopframe to align himself with God and go to church the following day. He greets the Puppington family and Reverend Putty on the way in, while wearing very tight pants. This causes Putty to quickly change that day's sermon to one regarding homosexuality. He emphasizes that being gay is "the biggest sin out there" since two men can't produce a child. He also says that "it's a joke" and the only one laughing is Satan. Stopframe then turns the cross on his necklace upside-down, and quickly becomes a Satanist.

Stopframe reads about a Satanic love spell that involves acquiring the desired person's hair. He asks Orel to get it for him, under the guise of getting Clay a new comb. Stopframe also contacts a secret group of Satanists who will help him craft the love spell during their "love acquisition ritual." Their leader, Flygron, asks him to bring a virgin to their next meeting. Stopframe chooses Orel as the "virgin." When the two of them go to the meeting, Orel is excited about going to a party for grown-ups. Flygron lets them in, but is shocked and upset that Stopframe brought a little kid to their meeting. Stopframe himself is shocked at the truth about the Satan worshipers: the group is not the murderous disciples of Satan like Stopframe is, but instead a group of nerdy, overweight hedonists who get together to gorge themselves on junk food and have orgies. Flygron explains that their group believes in Satan as a "force of nature, and not a living quasi-deity." The group gives Orel a blindfold so he won't see the ritual orgy. Stopframe tries to bear with the pre-ritual activities for Clay's sake, but eventually decides it isn't worth it after seeing the cultists engaging in sexual foodplay. He and Orel leave the party.

Stopframe, back home, fiddles with the crucifix again. It lands on its side, and he gets a call from Clay. After more flirting at the bar, Stopframe resumes his ambiguous relationship with Clay, and his ambiguous relationships with God and Satan as he turns his crucifix necklace on its side.

During the credits, Stopframe is taking pictures of Clay getting ready for bed from outside of the Puppington home. Eventually Clay sees him, and Stopframe runs off, but not without snapping more pictures of Clay staring in shock.
