Sal Figurelli is the owner of Sal's Corner Store and a minor character. He is the husband of Mrs. Figurelli and the father of Susie and Billy.
Personality[]
Mr. Figurelli is a comically, brazenly corrupt businessman who isn't above bribery and using child labor. While he's usually happy-go-lucky and carefree, Sal and his wife's arguments can become heated, to the point where they almost divorced.
Sal appreciates Orel and Doughy in some way, as he occasionally treats them with frozen strawberry phosphates.
He is considered both in the show and out as an Italian stereotype. He is also antisemitic.
History[]
Sal took a number of odd jobs throughout the show, usually selling food or drinks. While eggs were completely legal, he served Ms. Censordoll eggs in exchange for her not protesting against his store. Despite eggs being outlawed, he managed to find a loophole.
In "God's Image," Moralton discriminated against Italian-Americans like him. However, this ended up inconveniencing the racists more than the Figurellis - he even got a giant mansion out of the deal.
Relationships[]
Mrs. Figurelli
She is Sal's wife. They generally loathe each other.
Ms. Censordoll
Sal hates Ms. Censordoll, but must appease her in order to keep his business afloat.
