Family & Relationships

Block Posabule is the Posabule's counterpart to Shapey Puppington and a recurring character. He is Art and Poppit Posabule's son and Christina's brother.

Personality[]

Given the Posabules are counterparts to the Puppingtons, it's no suprise that Block's practically identical to Shapey: excitable, curious and emotional with stunted vocabulary and little knowledge. Similar to Shapey, Block craves attention from Bloberta but is denied it several times.

History[]

Since little is known about the Posabules except that they're similar to the Puppingtons, Block may have been conceived under similar circumstances as Shapey and interact with his parents in the same ways. However, this is only speculation.

The Posabules and Puppingtons unknowingly switched Block with Shapey after their visit in "The Lord's Prayer." Neither of their parents seemed to notice or care. Curiously, Block stayed with Bloberta when given the chance to go back home. He later became friends with Shapey almost immediately.

"Honor" reveals that he would grow up to be a firefighter. He also learned how to sing.

Relationships[]

The Posabules

Block's family. Not much is known about their relationship with him aside from Christina acknowledging how he runs away sometimes.

Bloberta Puppington

Like with Shapey, Bloberta is neglectful of Block and swats at him when he annoys her.

Clay Puppington

Clay is implied to be aware that Shapey and Block were switched but doesn't care as neither of them are actually his.

Orel Puppington

Like with Shapey, Orel is the only person who advocates for Block. He frequently reminds people that he isn't Shapey and fully accepted him as his brother by the end of the series.

Shapey Puppington

Block and Shapey become friends right away and enjoy one another's presence. They are often seen playing together.

Trivia[]

Praying Clones

Block appears twice in this scene, to the right of each Clay. The second one's obscured by Sharon Christein.

  • Block's model was duplicated in "Praying" to make the crowd seem bigger and to save time.
  • Block's name is a reference to blocks of clay and how clay figures can be posed.
