Officer Roger Papermouth is a police officer and a minor character. He is Anne Papermouth's father and was Florence's husband.
Personality[]
Roger is defined by his cowardice, immaturity and lack of wit. Despite those traits, he is upbeat most of the time and thinks of himself as a reasonable adult. When wronged, he often pulls out his gun and fires haphazardly. Roger has a character tic of saying "pow" each time he fires.
The "crimes" that Roger goes after are often silly or doing no harm to Moralton, such as children writing "Satan Stinks" on a wall.
He became miserable and lonely since Florence left him, trying to fill the void by hitting on women in town.
History[]
Roger married Florence and had a child before the events of the show, but she was actually interested in someone else. Roger and Florence's blessed union came to an end during the events of "The Lord's Greatest Gift," when he cowered in fear of the nude zombies. He tried to rebound with other women, but to no avail.
After Florence left, Roger was awarded custody of Anne, who he trained to be a police officer.
Relationships[]
Florence Papermouth
While they were together, Florence was unsatisfied with her marriage and called it off with Roger. When he saw her sleeping with another man, he took out his rage on Anne's teddy bear.
Anne Papermouth
She is his daughter. Roger trained Anne to hold a gun, which Florence didn't approve of.
Rod Putty
Despite being aware of Florence's interest in Reverend Putty, Roger can't seem to connect the dots between the reverend and the mysterious man who slept with Florence. Instead, he considers Rod a "wise and blessed man" who he turns to for advice.

This section contains speculation. Please keep this in mind as you read it. |
- He and Bloberta were planned to hook up in a future episode. According to Dino, they were to meet outside of Nurse Bendy's dorm at Aloneford Apartments, where he would give Bloberta the nurse's discarded teddy bear. Nothing else is known about this planned episode, although Shapey growing up to be a police officer may reference it.
- His name refers to how the characters have paper mouths.
