Family & Relationships

Art and Poppit Posabule are counterparts to Clay and Bloberta Puppington, respectively, and minor characters. They are Christina and Block's parents.

Personalities[]

By design, they're extremely similar to the Puppingtons. Art is a hypocritical alcoholic and abuses his eldest child, Poppit has an extreme obsession with cleaning, and they are intolerant of anyone who says their prayers differently.

History[]

Art and Poppit moved into the Puppington's neighborhood one day, and seemed to get along with them. However, their friendship evaporated when they said their slightly different prayers at the dinner table. Art and Poppit would order their children to never see the Puppingtons again and would eventually move out.

During the move, the families accidentally switched Block with Shapey. Orel and Christina were the only ones who noticed.

Relationships[]

Christina Posabule

She is their daughter. They forbid her from seeing Orel for any reason.

Block Posabule

He is their son, who like Shapey is heavily neglected. For some reason, Block prefers Bloberta to Poppit.

Clay and Bloberta Puppington

Once friends to the Puppingtons, Art and Poppit cut ties with them after a heated argument at dinner.

Appearances[]

  • "The Lord's Prayer:" They move into the neighborhood and meet the Puppingtons.
  • "Numb:" Poppit returns Shapey.
  • "Closeface:" Art yanks Christina away from Orel.

Trivia[]

  • Their last name refers to how clay figures are easy to pose. Art obviously refers to artwork and Poppit is a corruption of "puppet."
